Skiplex is a unique revolving and continuous indoor ski slope suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders alike.

* No Lifts, No Queues
* Personal Instruction
* All Equipment Provided

Our low instructor:client ratio is the equivalent to a personal ski coach making us an extremely quick way to progress rapidly in a nice warm, enclosed & controlled environment. The only facility in the UK offering you 30mins non-stop skiing if you can handle it!

Our fully qualified instructors control slope speed and gradient by remote control and can be alongside you adjusting the conditions as required. The slope can go from 0-20 degrees and from 0-30kph, simulating green to black runs & racing speed and by using the mirror whilst you ski you can adjust your positioning and perfect technique.

Unlike other facilities and at resort, you don't need to queue or wait for lifts, just constant slope time. Because you're not waiting around you actually get to ski or ride 6 times more in your Skiplex session than at other indoor facilities. Skiplex gives you the opportunity to ski intensively for 30mins which is not only a excellent work out but builds stamina for your ski trip too. Ed Drake visited our Chiswick facility recently and recognised it as a fantastic workout "I've skied longer today at Skiplex than I have in 24hrs in Aspen" and if the Swiss racing team think our slopes are good enough for pre race training then you should get yourself along too!

Centres at Chiswick, West London, Reading, Berkshire & Basingstoke, Hampshire.

MPI is one of our main sponsors. MPI brokers specialise in wintersports insurance and can quote for ski insurance, including ski racing and snowpark cover. All their ski insurance automatically provides cover for ‘off piste’ activity. Michael Pettifer regularly attends the races and is on hand in case of any insurance queries. Basecamp offer Industry leading Ski Instructor Courses, and Ski Performance Courses. In the past many of our past racers have gone on to train with them to take their skiing up to the next level, they are a great way to form a fast track into the ski industry. They run courses in Val d'Isere, Meribel and Banff.

Basecamp also run the Independent Schools Ski Championships which are held in Les Deux Alpes in early December each year. The event is not a registered British race, and is run in a friendly relaxed manner. It is a great opportunity for less experienced racers to gain experience, and has also been popular with more advanced racers looking to train at the start of the season.

We are delighted to have them as sponsors, and are thankful for their involvement with the Ladies Ski Club, and in particular the British Schoolgirls' Races for a number of years.
